ABOUT THE JOB
According to the FAQ on the job page, this is a permanent position: full-time means 25 or more hours per week and part-time less than 25, depending on your availability. The Assistant Team Leader assists the management team in managing store operations and staff, and also carries out manager-on-duty tasks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the management team in managing store operations and staff.
- Box and unbox the daily shipments and stock products on the shelves in compliance with presentation standards.
- Provide good customer service and resolve customer issues.
- Ensure and contribute to compliance with the store’s safety and cleanliness standards.
- As manager on duty, make sure daily breaks are taken and attendance is entered.
- Perform cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
- Participate in the employee training process.
REQUIREMENTS
- Approximately one year of relevant experience in the retail industry, and approximately one year in a supervisory role.
- Flexible availability for day, evening and weekend shifts.
- Ability to organize time efficiently, manage priorities and multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, leadership and teamwork skills, and a customer service orientation.
