Sobeys is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Warehouse Order Selector to join its Distribution Centre in Winnipeg, MB. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, physical work and want to be part of a team that keeps products moving efficiently through the supply chain.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Warehouse Order Selector, you will select cases and assemble orders with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You will follow all assigned tasks to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods within the distribution centre.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select orders accurately using a pallet jack and voice-pick technology.
- Build pallets according to store orders and load them safely for transport.
- Lift and move cases weighing up to 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Work in different temperature-controlled environments (including freezer, cooler and dry goods areas).
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Meet performance targets based on accuracy, speed and efficiency.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as required.
