ABOUT THE JOB
The Tire Installer is responsible for mounting, balancing, repairing, and servicing tires according to Costco and industry safety standards while providing professional and courteous service to members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Locates member vehicles in the Tire Centre area and drives vehicles into service bays.
- Uses hydraulic hoists and tire machines in accordance with TIA and Costco standards.
- Removes wheels using impact gun and follows safety procedures.
- Mounts, balances, and installs tires using Costco-approved tools and equipment.
- Inspects tires for wear and damage and recommends appropriate services.
- Installs TPMS sensors and programs them as required.
- Performs wheel balancing and torque checks.
- Completes tire repairs following industry standards.
- Prepares work orders, processes invoices, and collects payments.
- Maintains a clean and safe Tire Centre by sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools.
- Assists members by answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Stocks tires and maintains inventory accuracy.
- Follows all safety, security, and departmental procedures.
