Dollarama is looking for an experienced and hands-on Team Leader to join its store in Gatineau, QC. This position is ideal for retail professionals who enjoy leading associates on the sales floor, supporting store operations and maintaining high merchandising and service standards.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Team Leader at Dollarama, you will support the management team in coordinating daily store activities. You will supervise associates during their shifts, help organize workloads, oversee merchandising tasks and contribute to a welcoming and efficient shopping environment for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise store associates by providing clear direction, guidance and ongoing feedback.
- Coordinate daily tasks such as stocking, facing, price checks and promotional setups.
- Ensure that merchandising standards, planograms and product presentations are followed on the sales floor.
- Support receiving and processing of deliveries, including pallet breakdown and stockroom organization.
- Promote and model excellent customer service by greeting customers and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with scheduling, time and attendance follow-up and task assignment during the shift.
- Monitor store cleanliness and safety, taking corrective action when required.
- Support cash operations, including supervising front-end activities and following cash handling procedures.
- Apply Dollarama loss prevention practices and report irregularities to management.
- Participate in the training and integration of new associates, reinforcing store policies and expectations.
