Costco is hiring a Stocker in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal if you like staying active on the sales floor—stocking product, keeping aisles organized, building displays, and helping members find what they need.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stocker at Costco, you’ll help keep merchandise available and the warehouse looking its best. You’ll align and replenish product, collect and return stray items, assist with signage and display setup, and maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by removing cardboard, slip-sheets, and debris. You’ll also support members with courteous service and help with other warehouse duties as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and straighten merchandise on the sales floor to maintain high product availability.
- Follow merchandising standards and work with supervisors to prioritize stocking needs.
- Collect and return stray items, and keep aisles clear and organized.
- Use a box knife to open product and remove shrink-wrap and pallets; stack used tags for return.
- Move cases and position pallets of merchandise using a manual pallet jack.
- Create and place signage; ensure product signage is accurate and mark unmarked items using a marking gun.
- Set up and adjust display models and safe-handling displays (e.g., heavy equipment displays) as needed.
- Remove loose cardboard and slip-sheets from the floor; sweep and maintain clean aisles.
- Operate the cardboard baler and trash compactor when required, and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Provide prompt, courteous member service—help members locate items and assist with loading when appropriate.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
