ABOUT THE JOB
The Service Deli Clerk plays an important role in Costco’s food service operations by preparing ready-to-eat products and assisting with merchandising and sanitation tasks. This role involves hands-on food preparation, equipment cleaning, and working as part of a fast-paced team to deliver high-quality products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and package deli items such as salads, entrées, pizzas, and ready-to-eat meals.
- Stock, rotate, and display food products according to freshness and quality standards.
- Operate and clean deli equipment including ovens, slicers, and food preparation tools.
- Maintain sanitation, temperature control, and food safety compliance at all times.
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of work areas and equipment.
- Assist with inventory handling and recording production and waste logs.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to Costco members.
