ABOUT THE JOB
As a Service Deli Clerk at Costco, you will work in a fast-paced food service environment preparing ready-to-eat meals, party trays, salads, rotisserie chicken, and other deli products while ensuring quality, safety, and excellent member experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, package, and label deli items including meats, entrées, salads, party trays, and rotisserie chicken.
- Assemble take-and-bake pizzas and ready-to-serve food items.
- Slice vegetables, meats, cheeses, and garnish prepared foods.
- Prepare and cook rotisserie chickens, ribs, and other deli products using commercial equipment.
- Wrap, package, weigh, and label products using automatic wrapping machines.
- Stock deli cases, rotate products, and monitor freshness and quality.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, temperature control, and health code standards.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, counters, floors, and prep areas.
- Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers.
- Maintain production logs, temperature records, and sanitation checklists.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to Costco members.
- Assist in other areas of the department as needed.
