ABOUT THE JOB
As a Service Deli Clerk at Costco, you will work in the deli department preparing ready-to-eat meals, party trays, rotisserie chicken, and other food items. You will ensure all products meet Costco’s quality, safety, and freshness standards while providing friendly service to members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Slice vegetables for salads, entrées, and garnishes.
- Prepare and cook rotisserie chicken, ribs, and deli entrées.
- Assemble party trays, meals, pizzas, and salads.
- Package, wrap, label, and stock prepared food items.
- Operate commercial ovens, rotisserie equipment, and wrapping machines.
- Monitor food quality, temperatures, and rotation procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Complete required food production and temperature logs.
- Remove expired or damaged products from sale.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to Costco members.
- Assist in other areas of the department as needed.
