FreshCo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Produce Manager to join its Windsor, ON store. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing fresh food operations, supporting a team, and delivering an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Produce Manager at FreshCo, you will lead all aspects of the produce department, ensuring high-quality standards, effective merchandising, and strong execution of all company programs. You will guide the team to maintain freshness, cleanliness, and availability while creating a positive work environment focused on customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations of the produce department, ensuring product quality and strong merchandising standards.
- Maintain inventory levels, monitor shrink, and ensure correct rotation, freshness, and product presentation.
- Lead, train, and support team members while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
- Coordinate department schedules, manage workload distribution, and ensure labor efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance at all times.
- Implement company programs, promotions, and seasonal merchandising plans.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional service.
- Monitor financial performance, contribute to budgeting, and support cost-control initiatives.
