ABOUT THE JOB
The Pharmacy Student works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support daily pharmacy activities. This position provides hands-on experience in prescription processing, patient interaction, and pharmacy operations while following all provincial regulations and Costco pharmacy standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the pharmacist with prescription intake, processing, and documentation.
- Collect and enter prescription information into the pharmacy system accurately.
- Prepare and retrieve medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Support members at the pharmacy counter and respond to basic inquiries.
- Communicate potential prescription issues or concerns to the pharmacist.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with pharmacy regulations and procedures.
- Help keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and well-stocked.
