ABOUT THE JOB
The Certified Pharmacy Clerk works closely with pharmacists to ensure accurate and efficient pharmacy services. This position involves assisting members at the counter, processing prescriptions through computerized systems, handling inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members at the pharmacy counter and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Process written and electronic prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Retrieve and prepare prescription files for pharmacist review.
- Handle pharmacy transactions, invoices, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
- Receive, stock, and organize medications and pharmacy supplies.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
