ABOUT THE JOB
The Pharmacy Clerk Certified assists the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, inventory management, and patient service. This position ensures accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist patients at the counter and retrieve written and filled prescriptions.
- Process prescription transactions, insurance claims, and third-party billing.
- Support the pharmacist by preparing labels, counting medication, and restocking drugs.
- Process invoices, manage inventory, and stock prescription drugs and supplies.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Keep the pharmacy clean and organized, following safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service.
