ABOUT THE JOB

As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk at Costco, you will play a key role in daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient service to members while maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist patients at the counter and process prescription transactions.
  • Retrieve and file prescriptions for pharmacists.
  • Process register transactions including payments, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Update and maintain patient records and prescription information in the pharmacy system.
  • Prepare prescriptions by counting, pouring, labeling, and pricing medications under supervision.
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions in compliance with provincial regulations.
  • Order, receive, and stock prescription drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter products.
  • Ensure proper storage, rotation, and merchandising of pharmacy products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy department by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas.
  • Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers as required.
