The Licensed Optician / Contact Lens Practitioner provides professional optical services, including assisting members with frame and lens selection, processing prescriptions, and dispensing eyewear and contact lenses. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in selecting eyeglasses, frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
- Interpret and process optical prescriptions accurately.
- Dispense eyewear and contact lenses in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Perform basic optical measurements and adjustments under scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate records, orders, and documentation.
