The Member Service Assistant plays a key front-line role at Costco by welcoming members, verifying memberships, and helping maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. This position involves regular interaction with members, monitoring entrances and exits, and supporting operational procedures to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet members as they enter and exit the warehouse and verify membership cards.
- Check receipts at the exit to ensure accuracy and thank members for their visit.
- Monitor warehouse entrances, exits, and surrounding areas for safety and security.
- Conduct safety and security checks throughout the warehouse and perimeter.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, or suspicious activity to management.
- Assist members by providing directions, answering basic questions, and offering support when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in entrance and exit areas.
