Costco is hiring a Member Service Assistant in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This position focuses on delivering excellent member service while supporting warehouse safety, security, and daily front-end operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Member Service Assistant, you will verify memberships, assist members at entry and exit, and help maintain a safe and secure warehouse environment. You will play a key role in creating a positive first and last impression for Costco members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct warehouse safety and security checks.
- Walk the warehouse and perimeter, correcting safety and security issues.
- Welcome members entering the warehouse with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Verify membership cards and assist with member entry.
- Count members entering the warehouse and report counts to Front End.
- Monitor warehouse access and report issues to the duty manager.
- Observe and report suspicious activity.
- Check member receipts at exit and ensure accuracy.
- Assist members with corrections or concerns in a courteous manner.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of entry and exit areas.
- Drive warehouse perimeter for security checks when required.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
