ABOUT THE JOB
As a Member Service Assistant at Costco, you will help verify member receipts at the exit, support safety and security checks, and assist with basic warehouse operational routines. You’ll interact with members regularly, maintain a professional presence, and follow established procedures while working with supervisors and the front-end team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with warehouse safety and security checks by following established procedures.
- Verify member receipts at the exit and greet members courteously.
- Monitor entrances and exits and report concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate supervisor.
- Conduct walk-throughs of the warehouse and perimeter as assigned.
- Provide basic member assistance by answering questions and directing members to the correct department.
- Support front-end operations with occasional tasks such as tracking counts or assisting with organization.
- Help ensure doors and access points follow required procedures for safety and security.
- Maintain a clean, orderly area near entrances and exits, keeping walkways clear.
- Communicate incidents or safety concerns promptly and accurately to management.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
