ABOUT THE JOB
As a Maintenance/Cleaner at Tim Hortons, you will be responsible for general cleaning, sanitizing, and basic upkeep of the restaurant. You’ll follow health and safety procedures, support the team by maintaining a hygienic environment, and help ensure guests always enjoy a clean and comfortable space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Cleaning: Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and carpets, and cleaning surfaces.
- Bathroom Cleaning: Disinfecting and sanitizing restrooms, replacing supplies (toilet paper, hand towels, soap), and cleaning fixtures.
- Waste Disposal: Emptying trash and cardboard, recycling bins, and keeping waste areas tidy.
- Surface Cleaning: Cleaning windows, doors, tables, chairs, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Maintaining Safety and Hygiene: Following health and safety procedures, using appropriate cleaning products, and ensuring a clean, hygienic environment.
- Exterior Cleaning: Sweeping, shovelling, raking, and removing garbage around the exterior of the restaurant as needed.
- Additional Tasks: Depending on the shift, assist with restocking supplies, minor maintenance tasks, or helping with unloading deliveries.
- Any other cleaning or maintenance duties assigned by management.
