ABOUT THE JOB
As a Maintenance Assistant at Costco, you will perform general cleaning and upkeep throughout the warehouse. This position supports safety standards, equipment maintenance, and overall facility appearance in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the warehouse.
- Clean floors, restrooms, break rooms, and production areas.
- Empty trash and cardboard using compactors and designated disposal areas.
- Respond quickly to spills, debris, and safety hazards.
- Clean and maintain fixtures, windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as painting, snow removal, and minor repairs.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Follow safety, security, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Provide courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers.
- Operate maintenance equipment according to guidelines.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed.
