ABOUT THE JOB
As a Loss Prevention Clerk at Costco, you will monitor warehouse activity to help prevent theft, identify safety risks, and support investigations when necessary. This position plays an important role in maintaining a secure environment for members and employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patrol the warehouse and surrounding areas to monitor safety and security concerns.
- Observe, detect, and report potential theft or suspicious activity.
- Investigate internal and external loss incidents according to procedures.
- Prepare reports related to incidents, investigations, and loss prevention activities.
- Communicate findings to warehouse management and loss prevention leadership.
- Assist with apprehensions when required and authorized.
- Work closely with other Loss Prevention Clerks and warehouse teams.
- Support shrink reduction initiatives and identify risk areas.
- Maintain knowledge of Costco policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Attend required training sessions and meetings.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when necessary.
