ABOUT THE JOB

As a Loss Prevention Clerk at Costco, you will monitor warehouse activity to help prevent theft, identify safety risks, and support investigations when necessary. This position plays an important role in maintaining a secure environment for members and employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patrol the warehouse and surrounding areas to monitor safety and security concerns.
  • Observe, detect, and report potential theft or suspicious activity.
  • Investigate internal and external loss incidents according to procedures.
  • Prepare reports related to incidents, investigations, and loss prevention activities.
  • Communicate findings to warehouse management and loss prevention leadership.
  • Assist with apprehensions when required and authorized.
  • Work closely with other Loss Prevention Clerks and warehouse teams.
  • Support shrink reduction initiatives and identify risk areas.
  • Maintain knowledge of Costco policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Attend required training sessions and meetings.
  • Assist in other areas of the warehouse when necessary.
