FreshCo is looking for an ambitious and community-focused Franchise Operator to lead its Brampton, ON location. This opportunity is ideal for a retail leader or entrepreneur who wants to run a full-scale grocery operation with the support of one of Canada’s most recognized discount banners.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Franchise Operator at FreshCo, you will oversee all store operations, from strategic planning and financial performance to customer experience and employee development. You will collaborate closely with corporate support teams to execute FreshCo programs, maintain strong merchandising standards, and deliver an excellent shopping experience for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full leadership and direction for store operations, ensuring consistency with FreshCo brand standards.
- Hire, coach, and develop department managers and frontline staff, building an engaged and performance-driven team.
- Oversee merchandising, inventory management, labour planning, and operational execution.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and drive initiatives to grow sales and control costs.
- Implement promotions, pricing strategies, and seasonal programs.
- Build strong relationships with customers and represent the store within the Brampton community.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment for all employees.
