ABOUT THE JOB
As a Food Service Assistant in Costco’s Food Court, you will help prepare popular food items, serve members efficiently, and keep work areas clean and organized. You’ll follow safe food-handling procedures, assist with stocking supplies, and support daily opening/closing routines to keep the food court running smoothly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare food items such as hot dogs, pizzas, baked items, and other menu products following procedures.
- Take and assemble orders quickly and accurately during peak periods.
- Maintain stocked stations by refilling supplies, condiments, and ingredients as needed.
- Operate food service equipment safely, including ovens, warmers, and dispensing machines.
- Follow food safety standards, sanitation rules, and temperature controls at all times.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift and at close.
- Handle waste disposal and keep floors and service areas tidy and hazard-free.
- Provide friendly, prompt service and assist members with basic questions.
- Support team members with opening/closing routines and restocking tasks.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
