ABOUT THE JOB
The Food Service Assistant works in Costco’s Food Court preparing and serving food and beverages to members. This position involves food preparation, handling ingredients, operating basic kitchen equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards are consistently met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve food items such as pizza, hot dogs, and beverages.
- Assist members at the counter and ensure timely service.
- Stock food, supplies, and ingredients in assigned areas.
- Operate food preparation and dispensing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, service areas, and seating areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code procedures.
- Support other food court duties as required.
