ABOUT THE JOB
As a Food Service Assistant at Costco, you will help prepare and serve food and beverages, restock ingredients, and maintain clean kitchen and seating areas. This position plays an important role in delivering quick service while following food safety and sanitation standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare hot food items such as pizzas, hot dogs, fries, and baked goods.
- Slice pizzas and keep cooked food items stocked in warmers.
- Ring up food orders, process payments, and make correct change.
- Assist members at the counter and answer basic questions.
- Assemble food orders according to Costco standards.
- Serve desserts and beverages including frozen yogurt, drinks, and smoothies.
- Maintain cleanliness of condiment tables and seating areas.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, floors, pans, and utensils.
- Remove garbage and operate trash compactors when assigned.
- Stock food supplies and ingredients from storage areas.
- Rotate food products and follow health and safety regulations.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to Costco members.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
