ABOUT THE JOB
As a Food Service Assistant in the Costco Food Court, you’ll help prepare, cook, and serve menu items while keeping the kitchen and service areas clean and organized. You’ll support daily operations by stocking supplies, following food safety guidelines, and ensuring members receive quick, courteous service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and portion food and drink items for members in the food court.
- Cook and heat menu items using ovens, grills, or fryers, following standard procedures.
- Assemble orders quickly and accurately during busy periods.
- Operate and clean food service equipment, including warmers and dispensers.
- Set up, stock, and replenish ingredients, packaging, and supplies throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean kitchen, serving area, and seating stations, including trash removal.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service and help answer basic questions.
- Support closing tasks such as cleaning surfaces, sanitizing, and restocking for the next day.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
