ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electronics Sales Assistant at Costco, you will assist members in the electronics and major appliances areas by answering questions, demonstrating products, and ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented to standard. You’ll help maintain displays, align and face product, support merchandise moves, and coordinate with leadership on inventory and merchandising priorities while delivering excellent member service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt, courteous member service and answer questions about electronics and major appliance products.
- Demonstrate product features and explain basic specifications to help members make purchase decisions.
- Assist members with loading products into carts when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology products by reviewing product information and resources.
- Communicate with the Area Manager regarding inventory levels, delivery status, pricing, and promotions.
- Follow merchandising standards; set up, clean, and maintain product displays.
- Align and face merchandise, return stray items, and keep department product levels stocked.
- Check and approve items for member returns and ensure proper handling procedures are followed.
- Participate in merchandise moves and assist with stocking tasks when directed.
- Review forklift driver lists and coordinate product placement in aisles and storage areas.
- Stock merchandise and help ensure proper product signage and presentation.
- Organize security items and support security lock-up procedures where applicable.
- Keep the sales floor and security lock-up areas tidy by clearing debris and sweeping as needed.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as required.
