ABOUT THE JOB
As a Cake Decorator at Costco, you will decorate and finish cakes, assist with bakery production, and ensure all products meet company recipes and visual standards. You will work closely with the bakery team to prepare attractive products for daily sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decorate and finish cakes using icing, glazes, and decorative elements.
- Slice and prepare cakes using knives or slicing equipment as required.
- Apply fillings, frostings, and designs according to Costco formulas.
- Assemble pre-cut cardboard cake boxes and package finished products.
- Transfer baked and decorated items to coolers, freezers, or sales displays.
- Maintain clean and organized decorating and work areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Assist with other bakery duties when needed.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to Costco members.
