ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Wrapper is responsible for garnishing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking bakery products. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, presentation, and freshness for Costco members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Removes baked products from containers and prepares them for sale.
- Garnishes, drizzles icing, or sprays glaze on bakery products following Costco formulas.
- Wraps and packages baked goods by hand or using wrapping machines.
- Assembles pre-cut cardboard boxes for packaging bakery items.
- Weighs and labels products accurately.
- Transfers products to trays, wheeled racks, or display areas.
- Rotates stock, monitors pull dates, and maintains product freshness.
- Maintains current knowledge of bakery items and assists members when needed.
- Keeps wrapping and sales areas clean and free of debris.
- Follows all safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
- Assists with other bakery duties as required.
