ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will be responsible for garnishing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking bakery products. This position plays a key role in ensuring baked goods are properly packaged, displayed, and ready for members in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Garnish, wrap, label, and stock bakery products.
- Remove baked goods from cooking containers.
- Garnish, drizzle icing, or spray glaze for baked goods according to Costco formulas and department production procedures.
- Wrap and package baked goods by hand or with wrapping machines.
- Assemble pre-cut cardboard boxes for packaging baked goods.
- Weigh and label products accurately.
- Discard broken, underweight, or defective products to maintain quality standards.
- Move products using large wheeled racks and metal racks.
- Rotate stock, monitor pull dates, and comply with health code requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of wrapping areas and ensure debris-free workspaces.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to Costco members when required.
- Assist with other bakery or warehouse duties as needed.
