ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will wrap, label, and prepare bakery products for sale while following established procedures. You’ll help ensure products are packaged correctly, displays remain stocked, and food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met throughout the shift.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap and package baked goods by hand or using wrapping equipment according to procedures.
- Label products accurately, including pricing and required product information.
- Inspect finished products for quality, freshness, and proper presentation.
- Stock and rotate bakery items to ensure displays are full and products are fresh.
- Move products using racks or carts while following safe handling practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of bakery tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code standards at all times.
- Provide courteous service to members and assist with basic questions.
- Support bakers and other bakery team members with daily tasks as needed.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
