ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of fresh products following Costco’s established formulas and procedures. The role involves handling ingredients, operating bakery equipment, and ensuring all baked goods meet company quality expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, measure, and combine ingredients according to Costco baking formulas.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and wrapping machines.
- Mix, roll, cut, and shape dough for breads and pastries.
- Bake, cool, package, and label baked products following company guidelines.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout production.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
- Follow all food safety, health, and workplace safety standards.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed.
