Dollarama is recruiting a proactive and people-oriented Assistant Team Leader to join its store in Quebec City, QC. ABOUT THE JOB
As an Assistant Team Leader at Dollarama, you will work closely with the management team to support day-to-day store operations. You will help organize workloads, assist with merchandising and stock handling, and provide guidance to associates during their shifts. Full-time and part-time roles are available based on store needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the management team in supervising store operations and supporting associates on duty.
- Box and unbox daily shipments, organizing merchandise in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Stock products on shelves in alignment with Dollarama’s presentation and planogram standards.
- Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and resolve basic questions or concerns.
- Help maintain store safety and cleanliness standards by monitoring aisles and common areas.
- Support managers on duty by ensuring breaks are taken, time and attendance are recorded and priorities are communicated.
- Assist with cash-related tasks when required, including supporting opening and closing routines.
- Participate in inventory counts, stock rotation and general backroom housekeeping.
- Encourage teamwork, collaboration and a positive work atmosphere among store associates.
- Apply Dollarama loss prevention practices and promptly report any irregularities to management.
