Dollarama is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Team Leader to join its store in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy supporting store operations, guiding associates on the sales floor and helping deliver a great shopping experience every day.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Assistant Team Leader at Dollarama, you will work closely with the management team to support daily operations, from merchandising and stock management to customer service and cash procedures. You will help coordinate associates on shift, maintain store standards and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the management team with supervising store operations and staff during assigned shifts.
- Support the receiving, stocking and rotation of merchandise in line with presentation standards.
- Help maintain accurate shelf labels, price integrity and product signage.
- Promote excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Ensure that store standards for cleanliness, organization and safety are respected at all times.
- Support cash operations, including monitoring front-end activities and following cash handling procedures.
- Participate in daily sales tasks, including opening and closing routines as required.
- Assist with training new associates on store policies, product knowledge and customer service expectations.
- Contribute to inventory counts and backroom organization to keep product flowing efficiently to the sales floor.
- Follow Dollarama loss prevention practices and report any irregularities to management.
