ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electronics Sales Assistant at Costco, you will support members in the electronics/majors area by answering questions, demonstrating merchandise, and helping with product selection. You’ll also stock and face products, maintain clean and organized displays, and follow merchandising and service standards to keep the department running smoothly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt and courteous member service, answering questions and assisting with product selection.
- Demonstrate merchandise and explain key features, specifications, and benefits in a clear way.
- Help members load large or bulky items into carts when needed.
- Maintain current product knowledge by reviewing product information and staying aware of technology trends.
- Communicate with department leadership regarding inventory levels, product status, and merchandising needs.
- Follow merchandising standards by cleaning, organizing, aligning, and facing product displays.
- Stock merchandise, rotate items as required, and collect returns to maintain strong product levels.
- Check signage and pricing for accuracy and support product marking and display updates.
- Assist with merchandising moves and coordinate with forklift drivers for stocking when required.
- Keep the sales area and security lock-up organized; remove debris and maintain a safe floor.
- Support other warehouse areas as needed based on business requirements.
