Team Leader – Dollarama, Montreal, QC

Dollarama is looking for an experienced and people-focused Team Leader to join its store in Montreal, QC. This role is ideal for retail professionals who enjoy leading associates on the sales floor, supporting store operations and maintaining strong merchandising and service standards.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Team Leader at Dollarama, you will support the management team in coordinating daily store activities. You will supervise associates during their shifts, organize workloads, oversee merchandising tasks and help create a safe, clean and efficient shopping environment for customers. This is a full-time role based on store operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and supervise store associates, providing clear direction, coaching and ongoing support.
  • Coordinate daily tasks such as stocking, facing, price checks and promotional setups on the sales floor.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards, planograms and product presentation guidelines are followed.
  • Support receiving and processing of deliveries, including pallet breakdown and backroom organization.
  • Promote excellent customer service by greeting shoppers and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with scheduling, monitoring time and attendance and adjusting priorities during the shift.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and safety, taking corrective action when standards are not met.
  • Support cash operations by overseeing front-end activities and following cash handling procedures.
  • Apply Dollarama loss prevention practices and promptly report any irregularities to management.
  • Participate in training and integrating new associates, reinforcing store policies and expectations.
