ABOUT THE JOB
As an Assistant Team Leader at Dollarama, you will work closely with the store’s leadership team to support day-to-day operations. You’ll help organize workloads, maintain merchandising and stock standards, guide associates during their shifts and contribute to a welcoming and efficient shopping experience. Full-time and part-time roles are available based on store needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Team Leader and management team in supervising store associates and daily activities.
- Help plan and prioritize tasks such as stocking, facing, price checks and promotional set-ups.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing deliveries in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Promote high standards of customer service by greeting shoppers and resolving questions or concerns.
- Ensure that merchandising guidelines, planograms and signage are followed throughout the store.
- Contribute to overall store cleanliness, safety and organization, addressing issues as they arise.
- Support cash operations by monitoring front-end activities and following cash handling procedures when required.
- Encourage teamwork, communication and a positive work atmosphere among associates.
- Participate in inventory counts, stock rotation and backroom housekeeping.
- Apply Dollarama loss prevention practices and promptly report any irregularities to management.
