Dollarama is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join its store located in Dartmouth, NS. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy leading teams, maintaining high merchandising standards and ensuring a smooth and efficient store operation.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Team Leader at Dollarama, you will play a key role in supporting daily store operations, guiding associates and ensuring that merchandise, customer service and operational standards are consistently met. You will contribute to an organized, safe and customer-friendly environment while assisting the Store Manager with supervisory tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise store associates by providing direction, coaching and ongoing support.
- Oversee merchandising activities, stock replenishment, product rotation and daily shelf organization.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by maintaining store standards and resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate register operations, daily sales tasks, opening and closing procedures and loss-prevention practices.
- Assist with scheduling, time and attendance monitoring and delegation of responsibilities.
- Participate in inventory counts, stock management and backroom organization.
- Implement visual merchandising guidelines to improve product presentation and store flow.
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all health and safety protocols.
- Support the Store Manager with hiring, onboarding and performance evaluations when required.
