ABOUT THE JOB
As a Coffee Bar Server at Safeway, you will prepare coffee, espresso drinks and other beverages while providing friendly service to shoppers. You will assist with product preparation, maintain a clean service area and ensure all items meet Safeway quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, tea and specialty items.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at the coffee bar.
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines and food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked service area.
- Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Process payments using the cash register or POS system.
- Restock ingredients, cups, syrups and supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist with preparing small food items such as pastries or grab-and-go snacks.
- Follow Safeway’s sanitation, health and safety procedures.
