ABOUT THE JOB
The Deli Clerk is responsible for carrying out a wide range of duties in the deli department in a professional, accurate and timely manner. You will support customer engagement, maintain product standards, follow food safety procedures, and contribute to a positive in-store experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety policies, and corporate guidelines.
- Prepare deli products and serve customers at the counter.
- Maintain clean, organized, and presentable work areas.
- Process customer deli orders.
- Assist with product rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
- Help maintain sales displays and promote featured items.
- Participate in training and team support initiatives.
- Operate deli equipment safely and according to procedures.
- Handle cash and follow company inventory control procedures.
- Maintain a safe work environment following company requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
