ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Clerk is responsible for delivering a full range of duties within the bakery department in a professional and timely manner. You will support customer service, merchandising, food safety and contribute to an engaging shopping experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, and Health and Safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer needs.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and presentable.
- Process bakery orders and handle customer bakery requests.
- Assist in product rotation, merchandising and maintaining displays.
- Prepare bakery items as required.
- Increase sales by promoting featured products.
- Operate equipment safely and according to company guidelines.
- Participate in inventory control and department shrink reduction.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
