ABOUT THE JOB

The Food Service Supervisor position at Tim Hortons is hands-on and focused on leading the team during busy shifts. You will coordinate staff, monitor service and product quality, and act as a role model for friendly, efficient guest service. Your ability to communicate clearly, solve problems, and support your team will help create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and Team Members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead by example and demonstrate the importance of treating every Team Member and Guest with respect.
  • Supervise and coordinate Team Member activities during the shift to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager by implementing store routines, checklists, and deployment plans.
  • Monitor product quality, food preparation, portioning, and presentation throughout the shift.
  • Ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding new Team Members.
  • Respond to guest concerns in a friendly and professional manner, turning negative situations into positive experiences.
  • Follow and enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and security procedures.
  • Complete shift paperwork, documentation, and basic cash or inventory-related tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous supervisory experience (minimum 1 year) in fast food service or a similar environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coach, motivate, and direct Team Members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Reliable, positive, and guest-focused attitude.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
