ABOUT THE JOB
The Cake Decorator is responsible for decorating cakes and bakery items using approved techniques and designs. This position involves working with frosting, fillings, and decorative elements to produce visually appealing products while following Costco recipes, procedures, and production schedules.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decorate cakes using frosting, piping bags, spatulas, and approved techniques.
- Apply borders, writing, and decorative designs according to Costco standards.
- Prepare and finish cakes for display and sale.
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cake decorating area.
- Assist with other bakery duties as needed.
