ABOUT THE JOB
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for general cleaning and upkeep throughout the warehouse and surrounding areas. This position involves operating cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, performing light maintenance tasks, and following safety and security procedures to support efficient facility operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain warehouse floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, compactors, and floor machines.
- Empty trash and cardboard compactors and dispose of waste properly.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory of materials.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and security procedures at all times.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and vendors.
