ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will prepare and bake fresh bakery products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will handle large quantities of ingredients, operate commercial baking equipment, and ensure all products meet Costco’s quality, food safety, and production standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and bake bakery products according to Costco formulas and recipes.
- Measure, weigh, and combine large quantities of ingredients using industrial equipment.
- Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other commercial baking machinery.
- Load, unload, monitor, and remove baked goods from ovens.
- Transfer baked products to cooling racks and designated storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, temperature, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery work area.
- Comply with production schedules and quality control standards.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to Costco members when required.
- Assist with other bakery or warehouse duties as needed.
