ABOUT THE JOB
As a Tire Installer at Costco, you will install, repair, and service tires while following safety standards and established procedures. You’ll help keep the Tire Centre organized, assist members with basic questions, support shop workflow, and ensure vehicles are handled carefully and professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, balance, repair, and rotate tires according to procedures and safety standards.
- Operate Tire Centre equipment such as mounting machines, balancers, and inflation tools.
- Inspect tires and vehicles for issues and communicate findings to the appropriate team member.
- Perform tire pressure checks and related basic service tasks as required.
- Maintain an organized work area by keeping the shop clean, safe, and free of hazards.
- Handle vehicles carefully and follow safe lifting and jacking procedures.
- Support member service by answering basic questions, providing updates, and directing members as needed.
- Assist with Tire Centre inventory tasks, including receiving, stocking, and organizing tires and supplies.
- Complete required paperwork and follow procedures for service orders and warranty processes when applicable.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
